The Ballet Zoo

Step into the playful world of The Ballet Zoo - a delightful new ballet experience for younger children.
Join the lively zookeeper on a tour through her zoo in search of a missing kiwi, meeting a whānau of friendly ballet beasts along the way.
Featuring tutus and tails, pointe shoes and paws, this menagerie of miniatures from several much-loved and familiar classical ballet includes excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and more! This interactive 30-minute performance is a perfect introduction to ballet and live theatre for young audiences.
All performances will be accompanied by free dance workshops at 11:45am and character meet and greet sessions at 1:15pm.
Tickets will be on sale from Monday 23 November 2026. The Ballet Zoo is not available as part of season subscription packages.
